Everything Need To Know About BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA

 BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA

Finally, Krafton unveiled India’s beloved battle-royale game PUBG Mobile, but with a new name – Battlegrounds Mobile India. The new game, according to Krafton, will only be specific to India and will have many exciting gifts. Before the official launch, Krafton will begin the pre-registration for the fans.

On 6th May 2021 in New Delhi,  KRAFTON, the South Korean video game developer, announced the reveal of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA. Developed by KRAFTON

KRAFTON  said the game will offer a world-class AAA multiplayer gaming experience on mobile. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA will release with exclusive in-game events like outfits and features and will have its own esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues. The game will launch as a free-to-play experience on mobile devices.

BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA, a battle royale experience, will have a period of pre-registration before the launch. The game will be available to play only in India. KRAFTON will collaborate with partners to build an esports ecosystem while bringing in-game content regularly, starting with a series of India-specific in-game events at launch, to be announced later.

Here’s a first look at the logo of the upcoming game.

With Indian govt standards where privacy and data security being a top priority, KRAFTON will be working with partners, to ensure data protection and security, at each stage. This will ensure privacy rights are respected, and all data collection and storage will be in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in India and for players here.

PUBG Battlegrounds Mobile India Pre-registration: When will it begin?

As per the official statement, Krafton will launch the new game soon. It will be available only to Indian users and will have a specific pre-registration before its launch. The exact details for the same are yet to be released by the developers.

What is the review of Battlegrounds Mobile India?

Well, we review it once the game launches. But I can say it has improved the security for the data privacy as well as strict rules for under 18 players. So definitely it will be a great experience.

What is new in PUBG Battlegrounds Mobile India?

Players below 18 years of age will have new restrictions in Battlegrounds Mobile India. These players will need to register for the game with a phone number that belongs to their parent or guardian. Further, players below the age of 18 will only be able to access the title for a maximum of three hours every day. These players will also not be able to spend over Rs 7,000 per day for in-app purchases. The teaser does reveal a map that looks like the Miramar map from the original game, so there is the possibility of the same maps and interface being used in the Battlegrounds Mobile India.

How can you earn money from the 'Battlegrounds Mobile India’ game?

There are 3 ways to earn money from battlegrounds mobile

Content creator:

PUBG has more than 10 crore audience in India and 50% of them must have Facebook, Instagram, and YT accounts. So, Just think about this. If you made a little creative content in this niche and upload it on all three platforms then I’m sure you’ll get some good reach. After getting a good reach you can easily earn money from ads and sponsors.
Tournaments organizers- You can earn a handsome amount of money by organizing the tournaments of Battleground mobile game.

Caster:

 You can do casting on matches that are playing in tournaments. Think, you’re casting matches in one tournament worth 1cr then you may earn lakhs of rupees from a single tournament.
Competitive player- After the game comes, Indian esports will rise like a dogecoin(To the moon). There will be various tournaments with price money worth lakhs and crores. If you’re good at skill then you can join a team and participate in any tournaments to earn some cash.
If you play very good then there are various gaming organization which can hire you for playing for their teams and they’ll pay you very well(20k to 200k RS).

 Crack ACM ICPC 2022 in 1 year

What is my ACM ICPC story?

Did my team get a rank that is good enough to boast about on quora? Definitely not! But the experience surely is. I came to know about ICPC in my second semester of Engineering. I come from an IIT (Gandhinagar) which still does not have a great ‘coding culture’, at least not in Competitive Programming. But one of our professors is really passionate about CP, and she told us about it. One another thing that makes our team unique is that none of us are CS majors!

We started our preparation in the summer of the first year, although it was not much rigorous. We participated in the online rounds of the competition and managed to hit the first 3 problems in an hour. We were very close to the next two problems, but couldn’t solve it. However, we managed to qualify for IIT KGP regionals (perks of being at an institute where there are only 3 teams competing!, my friends from IIIT couldn’t qualify even after solving 5 problems :p). After qualifying for the regionals, we felt quite motivated and started preparing more rigorously, solving more problems on Online Judges. We also prepared the 25-page booklet.

Apart from preparation, the journey to IIT KGP was quite wonderful (and yes, it was funded from the institute, another perk you get when you have only 3 teams going to the regionals :p). We had a great experience meeting some of the finest coders from the country. The contest was good, and we managed to solve 2 problems (very close to the 3rd one) and got a rank of 40 among 80 teams. The last minutes were nerve-wracking, as we got our last problem submitted 100 seconds from the finish of the contest. It was one of the good problems from the problem set. Maybe, we spent way too much time on tough problems in the beginning. The food was good too. And, we also wandered through the city of Kolkata, which was quite a great experience!

Our neighbors (students from DAIICT Gandhinagar, Team - Fruit Salad) won the competition. Anup Kalbalia, the Tech Lead at Codechef gave many insights about the world of Competitive Programming, which were quite motivating.

We will try to be back next time, more strongly and firmly!

What is ACM ICPC

The ICPC formerly known as ACM-ICPC (Association for Computing Machinery - International Collegiate Programming Contest) is considered as the "Olympics of Programming Competitions". It is quite simply, the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

The ICPC is a multi-tier, team-based, programming competition. The contest participants come from over 2,000 universities that are spread across 80 countries and six continents.

In terms of prize money, the top team takes home $15,000 along with the ICPC Gold medal. Three other teams getting Gold Medal are awarded $7,500. Each Silver Medal team gets $6,000 and each Bronze Medal team is awarded $3,000. Courtesy of the UPE Computer Science Honor Society, the First Solution Award will be $1,500. For the other solved problems, The First to Solve Award will be $1,200.

And more important than all, the winners also get some super bragging rights and job offers from some of the top software companies in the world!

The contest consist of two rounds:

  • ICPC Regionals:

The regionals are organized by the local universities of different regions spread across the globe. The winners of these regional rounds of the contest get to represent the country in the ICPC World Finals. The Asia Regionals in India will be held at 4 sites viz. Amritapuri, Kolkata, Gwalior, and Kharagpur.

Every regional contest site gets a "slot," which is an invitation for the team to compete in the World Finals. Typically, all the "slots" are allocated by December 31 every year. Additional slots may also be allocated based on student and institution participation, geographic coverage, and team performance. A few bonus slots are allocated each year for growth, innovation, and hosting. So depending on the number of slots that each regional site gets, that many numbers of top teams it can send to the World Finals.

Also, each regional site can have multiple rounds to select the best teams amongst those who apply. Typically they have an online contest, out of which selected teams are called for the onsite contest. These contests happen from the month of October to December.

  • World Finals:

The pick of the crop from every regional site locks horn at the World Finals.

Contest Format:

It is a team contest.

Each team should have three members and one reserve (3 + 1).

Each team must be headed by a coach, who must be a university faculty or staff member.

The coach can head multiple teams

The contest can have several problems (8 to 10 in general), of varying difficulty levels and mostly being algorithmic in nature.

How should one start preparing for ACM-ICPC?

First of all, try to improve your individual skills in competitive programming, coding, algorithms, and data structures as a whole. There are lots of answers and references on this, so I will skip to the more overlooked parts.

ACM-ICPC is a team competition. You need to compete as a team and not 3 individuals. To improve in this department, do a lot of mock competitions.

You will need to solve problems medium-hard problems to be at the top positions. For this, divide the topics among the three team members, and practice solving hard problems in that area/topic.

There is a single computer provided to a team. Thus, you will need to improve your game on paper. For faster coding, prepare a good initial design of the program on paper such that you just have to type on the computer. For faster debugging, practice debugging and analyzing on paper, looking at the code for finding bugs, and testing on tricky/corner/big cases.

It is a 5-hour long contest. This requires that you have a practice of competing with full attention for 5 continuous hours. Personally, I lacked this.

Practice. Somewhere I read that you should practice every day as if it was the target examination. I cannot overstate the importance of this. The more and smarter you practice, the better you will gain. You will know about where you are lacking, what can you do to improve, what are some good ideas for final hours, what should you do in a crunch situation, and many more things that just cannot be all shared in one answer.

How do I prepare for ACM-ICPC in 1 year?

at First, start learning a programming language clearly like you can start with C or C++. Get comfortable writing code in either of one of these languages C, C++, or Java. Why only C, C++, or Java? Because these are the standard languages allowed in any programming competition.

If you are already good at C, it is suggested to learn C++. It is the most popular language among competitive programmers because of its speed and an excellent library in the form of STL (Standard Template Library).

Pick an online judge. Recommended ones are Topcoder and Codeforces. These sites have a high quality of problems and also allow you to see other’s code post contest completion. These also categorize problems based on the topic. Some other popular judges include SPOJ, CodeChef (powered by SPOJ), and HackerEarth.

To begin with, start with simple problems that typically require transforming English to code and do not require any knowledge of algorithms.

At the early stages of programming, one tends to write long pieces of code, which is actually not required. Try to keep codes short and simple.

Practice these problems until you become comfortable that you can submit it for 240 odd points on any day.

Start implementing basic(or standard) algorithms. It is suggested to read them from Topcoder tutorials or Introduction to algorithms.

Graph algorithms: Breadth-first search(BFS), Depth-first search(DFS), Strongly connected components(SCC), Dijkstra, Floyd-Warshall, Minimum spanning tree(MST), Topological sort.

Dynamic programming: Standard dynamic programming problems such as Rod Cutting, Knapsack, Matrix chain multiplication, etc.

Number theory: Modular arithmetic, Fermat’s theorem, Chinese remainder theorem(CRT), Euclidian method for GCD, Logarithmic Exponentiation, Sieve of Eratosthenes, Euler’s totient function.

Greedy: Standard problems such as Activity selection.

Search techniques: Binary search, Ternary search and Meet in the middle.

Data structures (Basic): Stacks, Queues, Trees, and Heaps.

Data structures (Advanced): Trie, Segment trees, Fenwick tree or Binary indexed tree(BIT), Disjoint data structures.

Strings: Knuth Morris Pratt(KMP), Z algorithm, Suffix arrays/Suffix trees. These are bit advanced algorithms.

Computational geometry: Graham-Scan for convex hull, Line sweep.

Game theory: Basic principles of Nim game, Grundy numbers, Sprague-Grundy theorem.

The list is not complete but these are the ones that you encounter very frequently in the contests. There are other algorithms but are required very rarely in the contests.

And to practice problems, you can refer following sites

 1. http://codechef.com

2. http://spoj.com

3. http://hackerrank.com

4. http://codecademy.com

 5. http://topcoder.com

6. http://codeforces.com

To be noted: as a problem solver you should not lose patience, never give up. It’s a long time process. Everything thinks easily and read others' code never do copy from others but learn from others' code.

Hope all your questions got answered!!

Coronavirus| Data Analysis with python in easy way

Coronavirus Data Analysis with python in easy way

Hi, there hope you all are safe and doing something productive in these quarantine days.
today I am back with a very interesting topic of 2020 that is data analysis.
today we'll analyze the cases of coronavirus over the world.

Important Note

In this tutorial I am personally using jupyter notebook in my laptop but but if you don't have that much powerful laptop or you don't know how to setup jupyter notebook no worries I already taken care of you just visit the link below a jupyter notebook hosted on google cloud opens in front of you.

 the part of exploring different features of this notebook I'll leave it on you and you can watch tutorials on youtube to speed up the learning process.

Important packages to install

ok, guys, let's get back to work below python packages are very important for this tutorial if you are using jupyter notebook offline install all packages mention below but if you're using it online from the link above just install package number 2 and 3 how to do that just copy-paste below lines in the shell one by one...

1. pip install pandas
2. pip install geopandas
3. pip install descartes
4. pip install matplotlib
5. pip install request

done with this part lets move ahead......

Initialize packages

ok now lets import all the packages we had installed just type...

import pandas as pd
import geopandas as god
import descartes
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
import requests

if any error occurs please let me know in the comment section with a proper screenshot then or at StackOverflow.

if no errors great job lets begin the real game...

Initializing the variables

Now, let's fetch the data of covid19 first to do that.....
we'll initialize three variables namely confirmed_cases, recovered_cases and death_cases taking fresh and updated CSV from Johns Hopkins University Github repository.....

confirmed_cases_url = "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/master/csse_covid_19_data/csse_covid_19_time_series/time_series_covid19_confirmed_global.csv"

recovered_cases_url = "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/master/csse_covid_19_data/csse_covid_19_time_series/time_series_covid19_recovered_global.csv"

death_cases_url = "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/master/csse_covid_19_data/csse_covid_19_time_series/time_series_covid19_deaths_global.csv"

Reading with pandas

now we will read CSV files fetched by variables vie pd.read_csv() function.
here we created three data frames namely df_confirmed, df_recovered and df_deaths...

df_confirmed = pd.read_csv(confirmed_cases_url)
df_recovered = pd.read_csv(recovered_cases_url)
df_deaths = pd.read_csv(death_cases_url)

Viewing the data

after doing this much work I am pretty much sure that you were interested in seeing how the data is stored inside these data frames so let's check it out

In python, we have three ways to see data

1. head() →  to see the first 5 rows of the table in the data frame we write...

 df_confirmed.head()

output:

coronavirus data

2. tail() →  similarly, to see the last five lines we write...

df_confirmed.tail()

output:
corona virus data

3. name →  to see entire data we use just write the data frame name...

df_confirmed

output:
coronavirus data

Task: Try the above three things with df_recovered and df_deaths.

Additional stuff...

ok let's explore some more cool python function commonly used in data analysis

1. suppose someone asked you whats the matrix of a particular data frame here the matrix is nothing but the number of rows and columns. we use shape function for that so we can easily find it by writing...

df_confirmed.shape

output:
            (264, 88)

2. if you were just interested in finding out how many columns or heading are there is a data frame just write...

df_confirmed.columns

output:
covd19 data

Melting the columns

now before we move ahead lets first see what melting is actually like an ice cube when it melts the water drops fell vertically on the ground in similar fashion in a table when we convert rows into columns we call it melting now clear...

ok now let's see how our table looks by typing...

df_confirmed

output:

in the above image, you can clearly see we have four main columns in Green Province/State, Country/Region, Lat, Long, and the Red ones are just dates now the question is can't we make the fifth column which contains all these dates so data visualization become much easier the answer is yes just type...

confirm_df = df_confirmed.melt(id_vars=['Province/State','Country/Region','Lat','Long'])

output:
covid cases

Woh! we just did it now we have all our dates in a single column with corresponding values...

Renaming

now we have successfully melted our data but the fifth and sixth column names are not looking so good to me lets change the variable to date and value to confirmed.
we can do it by just typing...

confirm_df.rename(columns={'variable':'Date','value':'Confirmed'},inplace=True)
confirm.tail()

output:
corona19 cases

take a glance at the columns we have just changed the variable to date and value to confirmed.

Joining

isn't it is good instead of calling confirm, death recovered again and again if we can club them together in a single file and call that file to see entire data yaa it can be possible.

in the code below we will join all three data frames together inside a final_df variable to do this just type...

final_df = confirm_df.join(recovered_df["Recovered"]).join(deaths_df["Deaths"])

output:
corona pandemic data

 see the columns we have successfully merged all three CSV files together.

Plotting

till now we have just seen our data in table format now its time to see it visually by just typing...

gdf01 =god.GeoDataFrame(final_df,geometry = god.points_from_xy(final_df['Long'],final_df['Lat']))
gdf01.plot(figsize=(20,10))

output:
covid19 cases of world map

this plotting is not looking much appealing as we have covid19 data of world lets try to plot this data on a world map.

first, load the world map by typing the following...

world = god.read_file(god.datasets.get_path('naturalearth_lowres'))
ax = world.plot(figsize=(20,10))
ax.axis('off')

output:
covid19 worldmap

now we'll plot the points on the world map we can do by typing...

fig,ax =plt.subplots(figsize=(50,20))
gdf01.plot(cmap='Purples',ax=ax)
world.geometry.boundary.plot(color=None,edgecolor='k',linewidth=1,ax=ax)
ax.axis('off')

output...
covid-19-cases-in-world
